Micki Pellerano is a Cuban-American artist and occultist whose practices have established a preeminent career in Hellenistic and Vedic astrology. His work combines elements of diverse media, as well as ritual symbolism derived from both Eastern and Western esotericism. His practice known for its predictive accuracy and remedial approach is maintained alongside frequent writings and presentations on art and metaphysical topics. He teaches astrology on several platforms and is host of the program Time Lord TV.
Pellerano has presented at institutions such as MoMA, MoMA PS1, Serpentine UK, The Geffen Contemporary, The Brooklyn Museum, and the 2019 Venice Biennale. His work has also been influential in the music industry through his various contributions to album art and music video for prominent record labels. Featured publications include The New York Times, Town & Country, ArtForum, Artnet, Vice, Crush, Bomb, and V Magazine.
Pellerano graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theater Wing in 2003. He began his thoroughgoing study and practice of occultism in 2002, and received initiation into a formal Hermetic Order on 2014. He was the first graduate of Austin Coppock’s Year III Astrological Study, and currently continues his rigorous training in Vedic Astrology in the Parāśara Jyotiṣa tradition.
